Can you imagine taking 30 days to travel around the world?  As a full-time attorney, this concept is hard for me to wrap my head around, but wouldn’t it be AMAZING?  Now, what if I told you that you have the chance to win a trip around the world…?

Radisson Blu Hotels is offering wanderlusty travels the chance to choose and win their own round-the-world dream trip with their Paper City contest.  The lucky grand prize winner will be treated to 30 nights in any Radisson Blu hotel and flights to 5 destinations around the world.

What five destinations would you choose to be in your itinerary?  Here’s mine:

1. Reykjavik, Iceland

I’d start my trip with a short-ish flight from Atlanta to Reykjavik, Iceland.  I’d use the Radisson Blu 1919 Hotel as my jumping off point to explore Gullfoss Waterfall and the Blue Lagoon.  I’d also cross my fingers and hope to catch a glimpse of the spectacular Northern Lights.

2. Split, Croatia

From Iceland I’d head to Southeastern Europe to explore the Balkan gem of Split, Croatia.  While in Split, I’d visit Diocletian’s Palace, the Game of Thrones filming location of Klis Fortress (!) and take a boat to nearby Brač Island.

3.  Nairobi, Kenya

From Europe I’ll be off to Africa.  Why would I choose Kenya?  I’d use the modern Radisson Blu Nairobi as my base to revisit one of my favorite travel experiences ever… safari.  There’s no experience like coming face-to-face with a ginormous elephant in its natural habitat!

4.  Cebu, Philippines

The Philippines is a country that has been on my bucket list for several years, but I haven’t had the time to properly explore yet.  I’ll experience all the city of Cebu has to offer, including Fort San Pedro and Colon Street (the oldest street in the Philippines), before heading to Nalusuan Island to snorkel among its famous coral reef and visiting the white sand bar on Pandanon Island.

5.  Santiago, Chile

Before heading back to the States, I’d fly to Chile’s capital city, Santiago.  From fantastic shopping to vineyards to beautiful parks, Santiago offers plenty to entertain travelers.  I’d be sure to squeeze in a trip to La Paloma Glacier and take a vineyard tour at nearby Cousiño Macul, Concha y Toro and Tarapaca.
